Circus!

We went to the Shrine Circus this weekend

(thanks Grandma & Grandpa Nelson for the tickets!)

Noelle liked the "beautiful dancers

and the girls that swung on the ropes".

She said she wanted to be them someday.

James liked the Human Cannonball the best.

He said he would like to be "that guy"

if he could wear ear plugs in the cannon.

Lions, tigers, elephants, clowns,

motorcycles, gymnasts and a bowl of

cookie dippin' dots ice cream made for a great day!

Characters

I keep finding more Disney pictures that I meant to post.
Meeting the Disney characters was HUGE fun for the kids
(especially the princesses).

We didn't get our picture taken with all of the characters,

but we waved REALLY hard at

our favorites when we watched the Disney parade.
(We thought Noelle's arm was going to fall off).

Ice Cream Bandits

While Noelle, Jane and I were off taking pictures

with the princesses, James and Cody

snuck an ice cream break

without telling the rest of us.

When we met up with them again,

I thought the five o'clock shadow on James' upper lip

looked a little suspicious.
