My Mancation

I was reading my MMA news a few days ago and realized there was a King of Cage fight in Lac Du Flambeau, WI. Kelly suggested I take my motorcycle up to go to the fights (I have the best wife in the world!). She bought me a tent while on one of her daily trips to Target and I took off with a tent, sleeping bag, and a change of clothes.

My tent:

The event was outdoors, which made it extra fun. There were a total of 18 fights on the card.

Herb Dean, who frequently officiates UFC fights, was the ref.

Former UFC champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was in attendance. Rampage was there in support of a couple of his training partners who were fighting.

Frances is a little sweetheart

that spends her days at Nicole's house with Paul.

This morning Paul and Nicole took a walk

to Frances' house to pick her up for the day.

Frances' Mom (a.k.a. Claire) sent me these pictures.

Hopefully Paul is more fashion-conscious in his mid-teens.

Desperate for Donuts

The place where we go bear hunting is just outside of Superior, WI - on the land of Mike and Fern. Mike has been regularly dumping bags of day old donuts to feed the bears for the upcoming season. Mike was gone for a few days and not around to feed the bears. Apparently they got hungry, smelled the donut supply, and broke into the garage. Once in the garage they found the donuts, brought the bag outside, and polished them off. Fern sent us the pictures:
