For our last day in Venice, we boarded a water bus and toured the islands of Murano, Burano, and Giudecca. Burano, a quaint island with multi-colored houses, was by far our favorite. The houses were painted bright colors by the people who lived in them so that when the men returned from their fishing trip their home could be easily identified.

After a long day, there's nothing better than drinking some vino straight from the carboy.
